Q Course Assistance

The Q Course Assistance Center focuses (not exclusively) on lower-division Q courses in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Statistics.  In addition, we offer peer tutoring in Biology.  You can work with a tutor in either a one-on-one or group setting. 

Math and Statistic tutors are available to:

• Assist you if you have difficulty completing homework problems
• Review and explain fundamental mathematical concepts
• Identify mistakes in your calculations
• Review problem solving strategies
• Provide helpful strategies and recommendations for studying for math exams

Our Science peer tutors are available to:

• Review class notes and help you understand key concepts
• Suggest effective reading, note taking and study skills
• Help you work through homework problems

Please note that The Source Writing Center can assist you with lab report writing.
